Torch Ginger 2

Gingers are common tropical flowers found on the Hawaiian islands. They come in all sorts of shapes, colors, and sizes. I made this image of a blooming deep red Torch Ginger (Etlingera elatior) against a dark background of tropical plant stalks in mottled sunlight at the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden on the Big Island of Hawaii.
