Buffalo Bur

Buffalo Bur (Solanum rostratum) is a member of the Nightshade family (it's also known as Spiny Nightshade). It's a common taprooted annual weed that can be found in dry disturbed earth and it is poisonous to livestock (contains glycoalkaloid solanine). Interestingly, the only time I've seen it growing is during our Monsoons.
