Description

The ubiquitous Bison (Bison bison) are everywhere in Yellowstone National Park. They're magnificent creatures and it's a thrill to view them up close. Gentle giants for the most part, they'll tolerate a lot. Many people view this tolerance as tacit approval for getting too close to them which is a big mistake for they are very dangerous when they feel threatened.

This one was doing what Bison do best... grazing.
