The Laundry Room of the Hughes House, a historic Victorian pioneer home near Port Orford in Curry County, Oregon.
Laundry was done here, either by hand or using the state-of-the-art Rocker Washing Machine and Hand Dryer. There was space to hang clothes should the weather not permit outside drying. The room also doubled as a coat closet, for the room was just off the back porch, with an entry way that lead past it and into the main Kitchen.
