Description

The crumbling U.S. Post Office ruins at the ghost town of Fairbank in Arizona. This is a diagonal composition of adobe brick walls, covered over with white plaster stucco bearing the words "Post Office" and "Fairbank Arizona". Erosion of the mud wall from the Summer monsoons is causing the plaster to fall off the wall, exposing the brown adobe bricks used to build the structure. A wooden framed window and door way create the points of interest in the composition, with a rough-hewn wooden bench providing additional character to the photo. This photograph has been sepia-toned to give it an Old West look.
