The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (ASDM) is a unique outdoor interpretive facility on the outskirts of Tucson where one can experience zoological and botanical gardens, art and natural history museums, and an aquarium.

The mission of the ASDM is to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert. It does this by showcasing the flora, fauna, geology, and cultures of the Sonora Desert in a natural environment.

The museum has 21 acres with two miles of walking paths, 230 animal species, 1,200 types of plants, and one of the world’s most comprehensive regional mineral collections.

If you ever visit Tucson, this is a must-see place!
