Description

Canyon Grape (Vitis arizonica) is a common vine in wooded canyons of Southeastern Arizona. The plant does produce small clumps of grapes which are loved by birds and bears so they disappear as quickly as they appear. The grapes are edible, though tart, and the young leaves can be used in the same manner as they are in Greek cooking.
