Description
A stump from a Redwood tree on Kellog Beach, part of the Point St George Heritage Area, just North of Crescent City in Northern California.
This was a surprising find, in that I did not expect to see such a thing on abeach devoid of any kind of tree or bush.
The bluffs at the Point St. George Heritage Area lie in the background.
